The 18th annual SiciliAmbiente Film Festival will take on July 13-18, 2026.

SiciliAmbiente is an international festival dedicated to feature films, documentaries, short films and animations focusing on environmental issues, sustainability and human rights. The Festival promotes independent and documentary cinema while fostering creative exchange and networking among filmmakers.

The Festival is organized and sponsored by Demetra Produzioni SAS and Cultural Association CANTIERE 7, with support from public and private partners and sponsors who share the Festival's ethical values.

The Feast of the Patron Saint of the country, is a way to know the essence of this place. June 15 is a big party for the whole category and the boats are all in the harbor. The festivities begin in the afternoon with the picturesque and fun game of the sea antenna, an ancient game, a real attraction for tourists.

But the most exciting moment of the festival remains The Landing of the Saints on the beach of San Vito Lo Capo. On a small boat they come from the sea, at sunset, the little Vito, the nurse Crescenzia and the master Modesto. Responding to a signal, the boats in the harbor, all go out to sea, to welcome the small boat and the Saints.

Free-flight performances, spectacular night flights, workshops dedicated to children, tasting experiences, entertainment and live shows create a unique atmosphere for all ages.
